We are initiating a series of blog posts featuring interviews with outstanding researchers that are changing, at a fundamental level, our understanding of the in vitro world.

These researchers, in different countries and in different stages of their careers, are gathering and publishing critical data on physiologically relevant cellular environments.

The Cytocentric Blog is attempting to convey not only the importance of their discoveries, but the various pathways each researcher has taken to them. We also want to convey the infectious enthusiasm for good science that radiates from these pioneers of cell research.

Our first three Cytocentric Visionaries are early in their very promising careers: Roger Rönn, of Lund University, Heather O’Leary, of Indiana University, and Timothy Downing of MIT/Broad Institute.

In our next post, we start with the first post in a five-part interview with Roger Rönn.

If you would you and your work to be considered for a feature in our Cytocentric Visionaries Series, please contact us and tell us how your work fits the Cytocentric Principles.

We look forward to hearing from you.
